Positive Comments:
  • The marvelous writing contains excellent phraseology.
  • These characters, including the likable complex “bully,” work.
  • The story contains surprisingly effective suspension of disbelief.
Concerns:
  • The constant foreshadowing at the beginning of every chapter annoys.
  • Even though the ending seems convenient rather than inevitable, a different ending would probably not be plausible.
