Announcements:

• The website now has a “Noteworthy Titles” 2011 brochure available for printing under “2011 List."
• A list of starred books now on the website will be updated monthly.
• The Folklore Society of Greater Washington will sponsor the Washington Folk Festival June 4-5, 2011, at Glen Echo Park, MD, from 12 PM to 7 PM. Capitol Choices’ Vicky Velsey will be telling stories on Sunday.
• Bethesda Library is hosting Ruta Sepetys, author of Between Shades of Gray, at 7 PM on May 26.
• Annette Klause has a story, “Elf Blood,” published in Welcome to Bordertown (eds. Ellen Kushner and Holly Black, 2011).
• The afternoon “Gilding the Lily” session of Pratt’s Books for the Beast on October 22nd has added Steven Weinberg and Stacy Sciescka, authors of To Timbukto.
