Positive Comments:
  • That a person can so easily be kidnapped from an airport makes a terrifying story.
  • As the story develops, the girl seems to have more need to understand her kidnapper, something the text mentions as the Stockholm Syndrome.
  • The description of the Australian landscape is distinctive.
  • Although the story contains very little action, the psychological tension keeps readers involved.
  • The format with the letters works.
Concerns:
  • The story does not seem to have smooth transitions between worlds, but most likely, such transitions would probably not be smooth.
  • The characters seem creepy rather than intriguing and interesting.
